MARK MATSUSAKA has over 25 years of service with the Honolulu Police Department. He has numerous certifications and over a decade of training and experience in the areas of crisis management specific to Child Abuse, Sexual Assault, and Domestic Violence. He was the department’s supervisor for the Domestic Violence and Child Abuse details. Prior to that, he worked as an investigator in the Sex Crimes Unit. Mark has a decade of experience as a Crisis Negotiator and was trained and certified as a negotiator by the FBI. He is also forensic interview certified. Mark is an active member of the International Association of Hostage Negotiators (IAHN) and the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA).
